I am a student in the university of Turku. I am majoring musicology. This winter I concentrate on communication studies. This site has been created for the Turku New Media -project and it is also part of my studies. I worked with the student magazine Poikkitela in 1990-1993. I was the editor-in-chief, marketing manager, graphic designer, photographer etc. It was fun sometimes, and the rest of the time it was pain in the ... I learned a whole lot by doing it, so if you get a chance to work as an editor of a student magazine, don't miss it! I am also interested in photography and I have been a member of the board of the University Student Cameras (Turun ylioppilaskamerat ry) since 1991 (chair of the board 1991-1997, 1999). I worked as a festival manager of Maata Näkyvissä -festarit the years 1992-1997 together with Kaarina Alho. I am also active in the internet. I am a co-owner of a company called Lopsi Ltd. Oy, which has its web operations under the name "Nettitehdas". |
